Are you also a fan of model trains and miniatures? Our cameras are often used to capture on-ride footage of the most beautiful model railway layouts, roller coasters or other model builds. That's why we have 2 mini cameras for you that can capture your finest creations. The C1 camera for the N-scale layout and the C2 for the H0-scale layout.

Model train camera for N-scale and Z-scale layouts

The C1 Mini Spy camera is as small as a 1 euro coin (2.3 x 2.3 x 2.3 cm) and has Full HD resolution. The camera weighs only 21 grams, and together with this size it is ideal for the small model trains on N-scale layouts.

The 140° wide-angle lens captures your layout beautifully. The footage recorded by the camera is stored on the included SD card, which can be placed in the camera, so you can view the footage on a computer afterwards. This camera therefore works without an app.

The camera can film for up to 100 minutes and takes 2 to 3 hours to fully recharge.

Model railway camera for H0-scale, TT-scale and G-scale layouts

H0-scale layouts are somewhat larger than N-scale layouts, so a larger train model runs on them. For H0-scale layouts we have a different mini camera available.

Our C2 mini camera is an ideal way to get the footage you want from your model railway layout. The dimensions of the C2 are 3.2 x 3.2 x 3.2 cm, and it has a larger battery. The C2 can film for 150 minutes on the battery.

As you can see above, the camera fits perfectly on the layout in front of or behind the locomotive.

You can watch the footage from the C2 mini Wi-Fi camera live or play it back via the free KUUS. PRO app. This app works on your Android smartphone, tablet, iPhone and iPad. The footage can also be viewed on your computer, with up to 16 cameras at the same time. With the Full HD resolution and the wide-angle lens of the mini train camera, it feels as if you are really travelling through your own model railway layout!

Conclusion

If you're torn between two scales, choose the smaller camera. It fits in almost every case and saves you hassle when installing. The smaller the scale, the more compact dimensions matter. Millimetres really make a difference here. The C2 gives a smoother, more stable picture with the app, but needs more space. The C1 fits more easily into small trains and is therefore often the safer choice when space is limited.
