Our new KUUS. S2 watch has a heart rate function. It can see what the heart rate of the person wearing the watch is, but how exactly does it work?

How the heart rate function works

The watch contains small green LEDs that flash very quickly. It also has a small photo sensor that measures how much green light is reflected back. Blood absorbs green light.

When your heart pumps, more blood flows through your veins, so less green light is reflected back. The watch detects this and can use it to calculate your heart rate.

You can operate this function from the watch's menu.

The KUUS. watch cannot detect a heart attack or heart conditions.
